Universal Mailbox Sync

Universal Mailbox Sync brings enterprise or personal email into your product. It syncs message metadata, full bodies, and attachments into the project inbox and file storage. It fits customer-support, business-notification, after-sales, and recruiting mailboxes that need reliable long-term intake.

What it can do

  • Connect multiple enterprise or personal mailboxes.
  • Sync message metadata and retrieve full email bodies.
  • Decode and upload attachments to project file storage.
  • Run background sync for new mail, with retries and isolation between mailboxes.
Cloud computing and file storage are prepared by superun as needed. You usually do not need to manage these dependencies yourself.

What to prepare

Mailbox access requirements

You do not need Feishu, DingTalk, or WeCom admin permissions, but the mailbox provider must allow client access. Common providers:

Enable in superun

1

Click Use

Open Universal Mailbox Sync in the Skill Library and click Use in the top right.
2

Configure mailboxes

For each mailbox, enter the address, provider or IMAP/POP3 host and port, and an auth code or app password.
3

Verify sync

Confirm new messages appear in the inbox and attachments open correctly.

Limits

  • Use an auth code or app password; do not use the mailbox login password.
  • The first sync imports recent mail by default and does not walk the full history.
  • The China-region sync path does not support Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or other overseas providers that are unreliable on domestic networks.
  • Configure and verify mailboxes separately so one failure does not block others.
  • Keep auth codes in the product config page; do not paste them into public chats.
  • Enabling or disabling this skill may change project code and consume compute credits.
