What It Is
Project transfer lets a project owner transfer a project to a teammate or friend. After the recipient confirms, they become the new owner, and the original owner becomes a view-only collaborator. This is an invitation-based flow. The recipient has 30 days to accept. Before acceptance, the original owner remains the owner and can withdraw the transfer at any time. When to Use It
- Handoff: transfer a project to a colleague when ownership changes.
