Overview
superun Pay is for collecting payments from users in mainland China inside your product. It is fully managed: you do not apply for your own WeChat Pay or Alipay merchant accounts or wire up payment channels and keys yourself. After you enable it on the payment plugin details page, you can use the platform-hosted checkout and order flows. Individual developers and early-stage projects also do not need a business license, corporate bank account, or similar materials just to open a merchant account on your side. Checkout, collection, callbacks, reconciliation, splitting, and withdrawals are handled on the platform and licensed-provider side. WeChat Pay and Alipay are supported together with the hosted checkout. The private beta application channel is closed—follow in-product guidance on the China site (historical gradual rollout notes appear in Billing Announcements under 2026-05-06).How this relates to Stripe: For international cards, subscriptions, and similar scenarios, use Stripe. For WeChat Pay and Alipay in mainland China, use superun Pay.
Fees, settlement timing, transaction limits, refunds, and withdrawal rules are defined in the product after you enable payments (plugin, wallet, and related screens). This page does not list rates or day counts.
Benefits and ease of use
Fully managed, minimal integration work
- Automatic setup: When you enable the plugin, the system generates and stores the required keys and credentials securely—no manual configuration.
- Ready to use: Enabling the payment plugin provisions the underlying infrastructure; no extra steps.
- Hosted checkout: The platform provides a single checkout experience that adapts to WeChat Pay and Alipay—you do not maintain separate flows per method.
Multiple channels
- Supports WeChat Pay and Alipay.
- In WeChat, the checkout page can launch WeChat Pay; in Alipay, it can launch Alipay; on desktop, a scan-to-pay QR code can be shown.
- One checkout experience, adapted to the environment.
Orders and money flow
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| Multi-channel collection | After one-click enablement, you can collect via WeChat Pay and Alipay |
| Order management | View transactions in the plugin; filter and search by status, payment method, and more |
| Refunds | Initiate refunds online; status updates are synced (exact entry points follow the product) |
| Wallet and withdrawals | Proceeds follow the wallet flow; after real-name verification, view balance and withdraw per in-product guidance |
Getting started (brief)
- In your project chat, ask to integrate superun Pay (or equivalent), or open the payment plugin details page and tap Enable in the upper right.
- superun connects payment capabilities based on your product.
- After users pay, view orders in the plugin; for funds, follow My Wallet in the product.
Security and trust
Licensed payment providers
Collection, payout, and account services are provided by institutions licensed for payment business by the People’s Bank of China; underlying channels are operated by compliant partners. Names and legal copy are shown in the product and agreements.Funds
- User funds are held by licensed institutions under applicable rules, segregated from the platform’s own funds.
- View money movement in My Wallet.
- Withdrawals are typically sent only to the bank card bound during real-name verification, reducing misuse risk.
Transaction security
- Payment requests and callbacks use RSA2048 (and related) signing and verification to reduce tampering or forgery in transit.
- Amounts and order state are determined and updated on the server, not by trusting the client alone.
- Payment and refund outcomes are confirmed using server-side queries plus asynchronous notifications.
Identity verification
Payees complete real-name verification (merchant onboarding) as required by regulation. When you enable collection, the product guides you through verification of your legal name and ID number; this satisfies national compliance rules for payment services, and you can collect payments only after verification succeeds. The payment institution reviews submissions—exact fields and steps follow the product. One verification result is shared across all projects under the same superun account; new projects usually will not walk you through the full flow again (follow in-product prompts).Payment plugin details page
The plugin has two tabs:- Intro: Capability overview, compliance, and trust information—visible before enablement.
- Transactions: Order list, filters, and related actions—this tab appears after you enable the payment plugin.
My Wallet
superun Pay is generally available on the superun China site: you do not need a separate “private beta approval” to use the wallet and collection flows—follow in-product guidance. China site (superun.com) only. What it is
My Wallet is the fund management hub on the superun China site for individual / business users, covering wallet balance, project orders, withdrawals, and sub-account / KYC opening. It is the single entry point to view and manage funds collected via superun Pay.Where to find it
- Sign in to the superun China site

Wallet feature matrix
| Entry | Purpose |
|---|---|
| My Wallet | Main page with three tabs: Balance / Project Orders / Withdrawal History |
| Sub-account / KYC | Individual or business onboarding, agreement signing, and bank branch info; the form auto-simplifies based on entity type |
| Project ledger | Per-project fund records, viewable by project |
| Gift Cards | See Gift Card Guide |
KYC flow improvements
- Further simplified: Unnecessary fields and redirect steps have been reduced—common individual KYC can usually be completed in a handful of steps.
- Adapts to entity type: The onboarding form auto-simplifies or expands fields based on whether you choose individual or business, removing irrelevant items.
Pricing dialog defaults to “Individual” tab
- Non-business users on the China site now see the Individual sub-tab as the default when opening the pricing dialog, preventing accidental selection of business plans.
- Business users and team admins still land on the appropriate tab based on their role.
FAQ
- Can overseas users use the wallet? Not currently—the wallet is only available on the China site.
- How long does real-name review take? Follow the payment institution’s review timing and in-product messages.
- Do I verify again for every new project? One account shares verification; new projects usually do not require starting from scratch (follow the product).
